Wakefulness in Family Relationships
Father Stephen welcomes the reader into his home and heart as he shares lessons learned as a father and grandfather. He has a gift for painting a clear picture with his words, and there were more than a few chuckles and episodes of roaring laughter I enjoyed through the stories he told.
I believe Father has the gift of nepsis, or wakefulness, in how he views the events of his daily life. He is attuned to the messages Christ reveals to him through his loved ones. And in through his sharing, the reader hears the messages for her/his own family life - if he/she “has ears to hear and eyes to see!”
